Community Arts by ZK delivered a series of workshops on arts and textiles with a strong emphasis on community cohesion, education and integration.

The project 'Integration Arts' encouraged people to learn more about themselves and others through engagement and interaction, with the use of Art /Textiles and various skills and techniques.

Children, young people and families from a range of cultures including immigrants from Hungary, Lithuania, Italy, Pakistan working alongside British family came together and shared their cultures and produced art work.

They had the opportunity to work closely with  Artist Zaneb Khatun and explored Block printing techniques using Indian wooden blocks, drawing and collage techniques and weaving taconites.

The people involved included members of the public and community organisations who all benefited from the project.
