FROSTY FUN

Community Arts by ZK had the best time over the Christmas holidays, delivering our winter project for children ‘Frosty Fun’!

The 3 days of workshops were for children aged 5-11 and included creative art projects, fun games and free healthy lunches.

Led by our community artist, Emily Forbes, the children learnt a range of artistic techniques including tissue paper manipulation, collaging, painting and experimenting with recycled materials to create photo frames, bean pictures and plant pots. We then concluded the 3 workshops with a wonderful trip to see Cinderella in pantomime at The Muni Theatre, Colne.

The aim of these workshops is to encourage and enhance the
children’s imagination and creativity in a sociable environment, to increase their confidence whilst having lots of fun. We run children’s projects every winter, Easter and summer holiday so get in touch if you’d like your child to participate in them!

This project was supported by Pendle County Council and Fun Vibes Active Lives, as part of the holiday activities and food programme (HAF).
