The Royal Blackburn Hospital have purchased an art piece by artist Zaneb Khatun to be permanently displayed at the hospital for people and patients to view.

 

The artwork can be seen as a form of therapy due to its ability to create a more positive healing and working environment.

 

This piece was born out of a rewarding project about how the art that we produce for hospitals can have an impact on peoples' lives.

 

The purpose of the art piece is to bring joy to patients, to make them smile and to have a positive effect on their health and recovery through arts capacity to access and integrate a number of systems within the brain simultaneously.
