Natalie is the Manager of Healing Arts for All at Community Arts by ZK. She is a visual artist and former Headteacher with over 30 years’ experience in education, leadership and community development. Her community arts journey began in the East End of London, where she led creative projects in both mainstream and special education, supporting diverse communities through inclusive, arts-based learning.

Natalie studied Applied Psychology in Cardiff before completing her PGCE in Brighton and later gaining her NPQH from the National College of School Leadership in Nottingham. She went on to lead outstanding schools, deliver system-wide improvement in Bradford, and secure major investment for creative learning environments.

Natalie has been visiting Pendle since she was a teenager and settled here 25 years ago. She is passionate about giving back to her local community, especially South Asian women, whose communities she worked closely with in previous roles in Bradford and London. Her work is focused on unifying communities through creative expression and wellbeing.

Outside of Community Arts by ZK, Natalie works as an education consultant for an online school while developing her own visual arts practice and creative projects.
